Gordon’s Jewelers employees in First Colony Mall is the latest jewelry store to endure a “smash and grab” style robbery.
According to reports, three men entered the jewelry store at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and smashed several displays cases.
Sugar Land police said there were customers inside the store at the time of the robbery; no injuries were reported.
The robbery out at First Colony Mall is the latest in a string of “smash and grab” style robberies at jewelry stores in the Houston area.
Back in mid-February, thieves targeted and hit the Ben Bridge Jewelry store inside Memorial City Mall.
News 92 FM obtained video of one of the “smash and grab” style robberies this week.
Police continue to search for the suspects behind the robberies.
