A Houston mom is now facing capital murder charges in the beating death of her 4-year-old son.
Britni Bereasa Glover, was charged with capital murder while her boyfriend, Michael Allen Seaton, was charged in the murder back in December.

According to authorities, paramedics found 4-year-old Dustyn Skyler Roff’s body at an apartment on Hillcroft back in December of last year.

Authorities say that the young boy had two black eyes and a laceration to his chin. Police also found multiple busies on the boy’s face, arms, chest, legs and back.

Glover told police that she allowed Seaton to babysit her son while she worked full-time at a day care. She also told authorities that weeks before Dustyn’s death, she came home from work to find her son with two black eyes.

Glover said Seaton told her the boy had fallen and hurt himself. Seaton had been on probation for beating a 2-year-old in Lee County.

Glover and Seaton had an argument before the boy’s death and Seaton later backhanded the boy. Police say Seaton then went into the boy’s room, grabbed him, threw him to the floor and punched him several times in the abdomen and back. Authorities said that Glover stood by and allowed the beating to take place, doing nothing to stop it.

After the beating, Glover said Seaton left and she asked her son if he was OK. Dustyn told her that his stomach hurt, but Glover did not seek medical attention for the boy.

A day later, Glover found that her young son was not breathing and screams could be heard coming from her apartment. The child was dead.

According to the corner, The young boy suffered 100 contusions and multiple injuries to various internal organs. It was later determined that the cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries.

Seaton went on the run but then later turned himself over to authorities in Milam County about a week after Dustyn’s death.

Glover, who has since been charged with capital murder, was initially charged with injury to a child by omission in the case.
