One arrest has been made in a smash-and-grab style robbery at a jewelry store.
According to reports, Killrain Jarod Randolph, who was arrested on Thursday, was linked to the robbery, due to the DNA Randolph left at the crime scene.
The Zales Outlet store on F.M. 1960 near Champion Forest Drive was robbed about 1 p.m. on Jan. 25th. Randolph and thee other men rushed into to the store and smashed the glass cases with sledge hammers.
Randolph and the other men then took high priced jewelry pieces and then escaped in in a white four-door vehicle.
Police believe that Randolph and his accomplices may be responsible for other smash-and-grab style robberies in the area as police continue to investigate those crimes as well.
Two Ben Bridge stores inside The Galleria and Memorial City Mall and the Gordon’s Jewelers inside First Colony Mall were stores that were targeted for smash-and-grab robberies.
