Dave Hogan/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Emmy, Oscar and Grammy winner Robin Williams will soon have another trophy for his mantle.
He has been named the 2012 recipient of the The Comedy Awards’ second Stand-Up Icon Award. Tracy Morgan presented the inaugural award to Eddie Murphy last year.
The awards ceremony, to be taped at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom, will air on Comedy Central on Sunday, May 6.
