Police responded to an apparent armed robbery at a west Houston store Monday morning. According to reports, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an armed robbery at a Ross store located on Fry Road a little after 9:30 A.M. Reportedly, no shots were fired and no injuries were reported. Additional details indicate that two suspects possibly wearing bandanas walked into the Ross store and threatened employees. The store managers and employees fled into the manager’s office and locked the door behind them.
The robbery suspects attempted to steal money from the store’s safe but were not able to open it. After the robbers attempted to flee a short time later, two of the suspects were apprehended and a third was held for questioning. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
