According to reports, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents found more than 30 illegal immigrants from Guatemala and Honduras living in one home in southeast Houston Tuesday. Additional reports indicate that the illegal immigrants found living in the home included men, women and children. This is the second time in a week federal authorities find dozens of alleged undocumented immigrants living in one home.
The raid reportedly took place at a home located on Brumbley Street near Fennell Street in southeast Houston. According to an ICE spokesman the home was initially believed to have been a drop house for a human smuggling operation. Agents received an anonymous tip and reportedly apprehended 30 adults, 25 of which were male and six juveniles, four of which were reportedly male. Children’s Protective Services is also reportedly involved in the case and working with the children involved in the raid.
