An Amber Alert has been issued for a boy who’s been reported missing in Liberty County. According to reports, two-year-old Devin “Baby Boy” Davis was last seen around 3:15 P.M. Tuesday at his home in the Sam Houston Lakes Estate in Cleveland.
Additional reports indicate that the baby’s mother told authorities she woke up from a nap and the discovered he was gone. Davis has blue eyes and red hair and stands about 30 inches tall. He weighs about 40 pounds. He was wearing a gray and burgundy jersey, blue jeans and Spider-Man tennis shoes. Authorities fear the child may have wandered off and have been abducted.
The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with the Tarkington Volunteer Fire Department in setting up a command post at the child’s home as they continue to search for him. There is a creek that is about 100 feet away from the home. State troopers have deployed helicopters to help in the search for the baby.
