Houston police are piecing the details together of a carjacking that happened around 9:00 P.M. Tuesday. According to reports, three carjackers shot at two men and wounded one in the hand near the Galleria on Westheimer at the West Loop Tuesday evening. Two of the carjacking victims were inside their vehicle at a CVS parking lot to meet an old friend when they were ambushed by three carjackers. The trio of suspects then opened fire on the victims. According to an HPD officer on the scene, the carjackers attempted to get inside the victim’s car and then started shooting through the front passenger window of the car.
