There’s one more day of testimony before the Supreme Cout on the nation’s Health Care Reform Law. The state of Texas is one of the 26 states suing to overturn the law -specifically the individual mandate that requires Americans to buy health insurance or pay a penalty. Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has been watching the proceedings in the courtroom and he thinks the health care law is in trouble. The nation’s highest court is also considering the fate of the rest of the health care reform law if the individual mandate is thrown out. The justices are mulling over the pros and cons of Texas being forced to expand its Medicaid system beyond its budgetary ability. All sides are expecting to hear a final ruling from the court by the end of June.
