According to the latest reports on gas prices, gasoline prices across the state of Texas have risen six cents for the second consecutive week. On Thursday afternoon, AAA of Texas reported that the average retail price per gallon has reached $3.82. According to a weekly survey, its findings show that the national retail price for a gallon of gasoline jumped to four cents to $3.92 per gallon.
Additional reports indicate that in the state of Texas, motorists are paying the most in the Dallas-Fort Worth area at $3.90 per gallon. The least expensive area in Texas for a gallon of gas is in Amarillo where drivers pay a reported $3.64 per gallon. AAA Texas reports that the average 14-gallon fill-up is now approximately $53.48.
