According to reports, police have filed charges against the man they say shot into a northeast Houston home over the weekend, striking a four-year-old boy in the forehead. Candale Dekota Hall has been charged with aggravated assault. Court documents indicate that Hall was firing a gun at his ex-girlfriend who is named Shtonia Cephus. Cephus reportedly entered the front door of the home day care facility on Madera Road over the weekend and as she did so, Hall fired several shots into the home. He struck four-year-old Isaiah Nicholas in the forehead with one of the shots he fired. Isaiah was reportedly one of six children inside the house.
Isaiah is said to be in critical condition and on life support at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. Additional reports indicate that Hall turned himself in to authorities Tuesday afternoon. His bail has been set at $20,000.
