Published reports indicate that on Friday, authorities located two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery and shooting at a mobile home in New Caney. According to Montgomery County police, additional arrests could be forthcoming.
Fifty-six-year-old Patricia Lynn Hickman and 29-year-old Adrian Nathaniel Comstock were tracked down at a Motel 6 on Highway 59 and FM 1960 in Humble, Texas early Friday. Additional reports indicate that the two broke into a home in the 21000 block of Russell Drive in the early morning hours of Thursday.
The female homeowner and a male companion were sound asleep when Comstock and Hickman broke in. Both suspects ambushed the victims shooting guns. The homeowner, who returned fire with a .380 pistol, was shot in the neck and the arm. She was then airlifted to the Texas Medical Center. The male companion was also shot and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in The Woodlands to receive treatment for his wounds to the back and shoulder. Their conditions were unknown at the time of this report.
Comstock and Hickman were taken into custody. Comstock already had an outstanding warrant for felony theft out of Montgomery County. He faces an additional charge of aggravated robbery for the shooting in New Caney. Hickman also faces a charge of aggravated robbery.
