Two men are arrested in connection with the burglaries of some homes in Harris and Fort Bend counties. Fort Bend County Sheriff’s spokesperson Bob Haenel says a woman, who lives on Empire Oaks Lane in Katy, notified them after she saw her neighbor’s home being burglarized.
That suspect, George Quintanilla, was taken into custody and has already posted bond on charges of two counts of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony. Quintanilla has also been linked to burglary cases in Falcon Ranch and Parkway Oaks. A second suspect, Carlos Escareno, has been arrested on four counts of burglary of a habitation.
Officials are still looking for information leading them to the two cars the suspects used in the crimes. The cars are a 2002 white Mazda 626 and a late model white Ford Fusion.
