A Montgomery County mother is mourning the loss of her daughter after a fatal car wreck in Willis early this morning.
Just before 1:30 this morning, 19-year-old Toni Lynn Taylor called her mom and said she was coming home from her boyfriend’s house. When she didn’t come home by 3 a.m., both the mom and the boyfriend went searching for her. That’s when they found emergency responders on Cedar Lane and Toni’s car in the ditch.
DPS troopers say the 19-year-old was traveling south on cedar lane between Clint Parker and FM 1484 at a high rate of speed when she left the roadway and hit a culvert and then a ditch. She overcorrected the truck and flipped over. She was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.
