A suspect wanted in connection to a liquor store arson fire in Northwest Harris County was arrested Thursday after he returned to the scene of the crime.

According to the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office, Michael Fuller was arrested around 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the liquor store in the 15000 block of Ella Boulevard.
Detectives say the 19-year-old admitted to setting the fire outside the store’s back door.
Arson investigators gathered surveillance video from the November 8th incident and issued a Crime Stoppers press release featuring the suspect’s images.
David Cormier, an employee at the liquor store recognized Fuller when he walked into the store to buy a pack of cigarettes, among other items.
Cormier confronted the suspect who agreed to help cleanup while Cormier secretly called police. Fuller was arrested at the back of the store on arson charges and transported to the Harris County Jail.
