A Houston man is in jail after police say he grabbed an expensive engagement ring from the hand of a jewelry store employee.
The robbery happened at the Zales Jewelers in the 6700 block of E. FM 1960 in August.
Investigators say Anthony Ross asked to see some wedding sets and then suddenly ripped one set valued at over $6,000 from the hand of the employee helping him and ran from the store.
Ross is also a suspect in a robbery at a Kay Jewelers in Pearland.
Ross remains in custody and his bail is set at $20,000.
