A woman tells Houston police she was nearly carjacked overnight in northwest Houston.
She was at a red light on T.C. Jester near the West Loop when she saw someone drive up behind her and get out of the vehicle. She sped off and says the suspects opened fire.
The woman sought help from a security guard in a grocery store parking lot, who called police.
Channel 13 reports at least four shots were fired.
Police believe three male suspects were in the vehicle, reported to be a maroon Lincoln or Cadillac four-door sedan.
