A Channelview father severely beat his 9-year-old son with an extension cord and rammed his head into a wall because the boy misbehaved in school.
According to Harris County Precinct 3 deputy constable, Stacey Lumpkin is charged with felony injury to a child.
Channel 11 reports Lumpkin’s son got in trouble at school on December 5, which allegedly prompted the beating.
Lumpkin had an extension cord wrapped around his closed fist when he punched his son in the mouth.
He then beat the boy with the extension cord and smashed his head in the wall twice.
Lumpkin told the boy’s mother over the phone that he had beat him. When she arrived home, she found the several bruises and raised skin from the welts on her son’s body.
A warrant has been issued for Lumpkin’s arrest.
