The launch window for North Korea’s planned rocket launch began Monday and Pyongyang appears to be going forward despite warnings from the international community.

ABC News’ Gloria Riviera has more from Seoul:

North Korea may be moving forward with a planned rocket launch in December despite announcing it might delay for unspecified reasons.

Reports are satellite images show the secretive regime moved a new third stage rocket to the launch site on Saturday, a sign final preparations could be underway.

North Korea insists the launch is part of its peaceful space program. But the U.S. and key Asian allies believe North Korea is developing an intercontinental ballistic missile that could potentially hit the U.S.
