A man who confessed to robbing a bank and blamed for four other bank robberies is going to prison. A federal judge accepted a plea from 27-year-old Kyle Lee Puglisi.
Police say in the armed robbery of First Convenience Bank on July 2, the Houston man appeared to put items in a cart and appeared to be shopping before demanding money.
Evidence from the scene helped identify Puglisi, who is also suspected of robbing four other banks, including the one that led to his immediate arrest at a credit union in Spring on September 19.
The Houston man faces up to 20 years in prison and will be sentenced in February.
