A Baytown man is charged after police say he sexually assaulted a 7-year-old girl.
Investigators say 50-year-old Dennis Stantford, had sexually assaulted the girl at his home since 2010. The girl told police Stantford would touch her in her room, bathroom, and his home office.
In a sad twist, the girl had been placed in Stantford’s home by CPS after investigators said she was sexually abused in Midland by her mom’s boyfriend.
Stantford is the boyfriend’s father. No word on why CPS officials chose to move the girl to the home of her accused molester’s father.
