A Houston mother has been charged with murder for the shooting death of her 19-year-old son.
Harris County deputies say Nesha Kraidieh and her son Philip Apostolo had been arguing at their home in the 5000 block of Sandy Dale in northwest Harris C ounty, when kraidieh allegedly shot her son in the head while he was sitting on the couch.
Those who knew apostolo describe him as “troubled,” saying police were frequently called to the house when the teen went on rampages.
Apostolo was charged with criminal mischief, but the case against him was dismissed because his mother decided not to press charges.
Kraidieh also got a restraining order against her son at one time. Apostolo was arrested for criminal trespassing and sentenced to three days confinement. His mother later dropped the restraining order.
