Firefighters say an SUV is to blame for an overnight fire in northwest Harris County. It happened at a home at Strathmore near Greenhouse.
The homeowner woke up when his smoke alarm went off, according to published reports. He noticed fire ripping through the garage where his Ford Expedition was parked.
Firefighters say the flames began in the engine compartment of the SUV but they aren’t sure why.
