Denim has come a long way from the hard-wearing jeans of the Gold Rush.
Skin care experts say moisturizing is the key to a more youthful look.
Following that logic, Wrangler is offering a new line of blue jeans with built-in moisturizing properties–and one pair with an anti-cellulite treatment.
“Smooth Legs” jeans are “infused with things like algae extracts, retinol and caffeine,” according to the company’s announcement that they’ll be available January 28.
Wrangler says the jeans were clinically tested by the Institut Adriant in France, where, after four weeks of wearing the jeans for eight hours a day, five days a week over six weeks, 69% of the panel claimed that the appearance of their thighs had improved.
One caveat–in order for the jeans to do their thing, you cannot wash them.
For up to 95-wears.
And if dirty jeans are a deal-breaker for you, Wrangler will sell you a bottle of “refresher” spray–for the inside of the jeans.
Retail price for Smooth Legs jeans is cheaper than a spa treatment–at about $136-dollars.
And they last longer, too.
