A man is being treated at the hospital after being shot by a suspect through the front door of his home during an attempted robbery.
Channel 13 reports that it happened at around 1:00 a.m. this morning on Camden Parkway near Walters Rd., in northwest Harris County. Deputies say the victim was trying to keep the suspect from getting into his home.
That’s when the suspect allegedly fired a shot through the victim’s front door, hitting him in the chest.
The suspect fled the scene.
The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Deputies say it appears the victim was followed home from work. Deputies say the suspect fled in a silver or blue Chevy Impala.
