A fourth man has been sentenced to prison for a 2009 west texas drug-related kidnapping and killing in which the victim was shot and his hands cut off.
The El Paso times reports that 23-year-old Cesar Pineda must serve 20 years in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to conspiring to kidnap, kill or maim in a foreign country.
Investigators say sergio saucedo was snatched from outside his Horizon City home after a botched drug deal. His body was dumped in nearby Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
In 2011, a federal jury in El Paso convicted Rafael Vega and Cesar Obregon-Reyes of kidnapping and conspiracy. Both received life prison terms. A third man, Omar Obregon Ortiz pleaded guilty to conspiracy and was sentenced to eight years in prison.
