We’ve done it again. Houston is among the top-performing cities in the country. That’s according to the 2012 Milken Institute‘s best-performing cities index. The greater Houston area ranks number four when compared to 200 other large metropolitan areas.
The index measures job, wage and technology performance, but does not include quality of life factors like commute times or housing costs. The number one area is San Jose, Calif. Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos area comes in at number two and the Raleigh, N.C., area is number three.
