A rude awakening this morning for residents of a northwest Houston apartment building.
Apparently a driver failed to stop at a dead end and slammed into the building on North Houston Rosslyn at Alabonson.
Channel 13 reports the vehicle crashed through a fence, flipped over and hit the corner of one apartment before sliding into a second unit.
The driver and a passenger were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There were people in both apartments that were hit, all children under the age of five.
Amazingly no one was injured but the apartments are no longer livable so the Red Cross is helping the families find a new place to live.
