(NEW YORK) — Philadelphia Flyers winger Scott Hartnell is out indefinitely with a left foot injury, Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren announced Wednesday night.
“We will know more on this within a day or two as we await results of tests,” Holmgren said in a statement.
Hartnell was hurt during the teams loss to the Islanders Tuesday, when he was hit by a shot off the stick of teammate Kimmo Timonen.
Hartnell is coming off a career season where he scored 37 goals and racked up 30 assists.
