Police are investigating a home invasion in north Houston.
Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies were called to the 18700 block of Mink Lank in the Mink Branch subdivision outside Magnolia, around 8 p.m. Friday. A mother and child were home alone when several hispanic males broke in, not knowing anyone was there. The mother confronted them with a pistol and the men escaped, but not before the woman fired the weapon, thinking she hit one of them.
A short time later an unidentified male arrived at Tomball hospital with a gunshot wound. No word yet on if he is one of the four involved in the invasion.
