A Funeral will be held next Tuesday for a Nederland man, killed when al-Qaida-affiliated militants attacked a remote natural gas plant in the Algerian desert.
Victor Lovelady’s family says his body will arrive back in Southeast Texas today. A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Saint Charles Catholic Church in Nederland, a suburb of Beaumont and Port Arthur. A visitation is scheduled for Monday evening at the church.
The 57-year-old Texan left January 7 for his second stint in Algeria.
Two other Americans, fellow Texan Frederick Buttaccio and Gordon Lee Rowan, were also killed.
