Galveston police are investigating the apparent murder of a man found in a parking lot at 3801 Avenue J.
Juan Navarro, 59, was found unconscious with obvious injuries at about 2:00 a.m. Saturday by an officer on patrol. Navarro was taken to the hospital where he died Saturday night. Navarro’s 2000 Lexus was found Sunday afternoon near the intersection of 37th and Avenue M.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Galveston police detective Michelle Sollenberger.
