A Fort Worth man is sentenced to 15 years in prison for biting off a man’s nose. NEWS 92 FM’s Martha Martinez has the story:
Prosecutors say this conviction on an assault charge makes Christopher Harris a three-time chomping offender. This time around, investigators say the 37-year-old and another homeless man got into an argument while washing a car.
They say Harris grabbed the man in a bear hug and bit his nose, removing half of it. Efforts to reattach it, by the way, were unsuccessful.
In 2001, Harris was sentenced to nine months for biting a jailer’s finger. And prosecutors say he was sentenced in 2006 to four years for biting and swallowing part of another man’s finger.
