A spirited debate on Piers Morgan‘s CNN show as he brings his gun control crusade to a Katy gun range. Among the guests, State Sen. Dan Patrick, who has introduced a bill to allow holders of concealed handgun licenses to carry their weapons on university campuses.
Morgan asked him why anyone would need a gun with the firepower of an AR-15.
And conservative talk show host Ben Ferguson, who was once threatened by a gunman, told Morgan why clips, more accurately known as magazines, should not be limited to ten rounds as is being proposed.
Also appearing on the show were Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott and rock star and hunting enthusiast Ted Nugent.
