Our Town’s been on a lot of lists, lately: Fattest, Hippest, Coolest, and worst traffic.
We’ll take the hip- and cool lists, and add to our collection of kudo’s this week’s placement on Forbes Magazine’s list of America’s Fastest-growing cities.
The magazine staff surveyed 100 of the most-populous metros, calculated population growth, incomes and unemployment, added a dash of college education data from sources like Moody’s Analytics, Payscale.com, and the federal Office of Budget and Management, and voila:
Houston is the second fastest-growing city in the land, just behind Austin, and ahead of our neighbors to the north in Dallas. San Antonio’s also on the roster, totaling four Texas cities with more-than desirable conditions to prosper.
