Investigators have increased a reward for information leading to the arrest of a repeat sex offender who fled from a northeast Harris County transitional treatment center. News 92 FM’s Trey Westerburg has details:
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety John Michael Enard removed his GPS tracking device and climbed over a fence at the transitional treatment center on January 9. Enard has a history of criminal offenses and was recently paroled for a 1986 aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault.
Officials say Enard has stated that he will re-offend before he goes back to prison. Crime Stoppers has raised the reward from $3,000 to $13,000 dollars for information leading to his capture.
