Some Travelers Stranded At IAH As Nemo Blizzard Impacts Northeast

More than 2400 flights have been canceled due to the Nemo blizzard in the northeast, and that’s affecting flights here in Houston. More from News 92 FM’s Trey Westerburg:

At Bush Intercontinental Airport, 50 flights bound for the northeast are grounded due to blizzards. Many passengers on those flights are in town on business, trying to get back home.

Dave, from Connecticut  came to Houston for a conference on Tuesday and was supposed to arrive at New York LaGuardia this afternoon.  And then there’sLlaurel, who arrived at Bush Intercontinental by way of Orange County, Calif.  She’s trying to get back to her home in Boston.

New York’s LaGuardia, and Boston’s Logan airport are closed, but relief might be on the way soon.  Just south, in areas like Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, all flights appear to be arriving on time, as Nemo continues to move north.
