TAMU Alumni Center Re-Opened After Bomb Threat Cleared

Two days. Two bomb threats at Texas A&M University. Campus police lieutenant Alan Barone says today’s threat was against the alumni center. Yesterday’s was against Kyle Field.


Both bomb threats turned out to be hoaxes.

UPDATE: 11:10 a.m.
According to the university website, the Williams Alumni Center has been cleared. The building has been re-opened
UPDATE: 10:42 a.m.
Williams Alumni Center remains closed until further notice as officials continue to investigate a bomb threat.
UPDATE: 9:52 a.m.
A code maroon alert is issued at Texas A&M University due to a bomb threat at the Clayton Williams Alumni Center.

This is the second bomb scare in as many days.

The campus website says to evacuate the building. No other buildings are affected at this time. We will have more on this developing story as details become available.
