A couple of Texas gals make it into the top nine on American Idol. Amber Holcomb, 18, of Shepherd, and 22-year-old Kree Harrison, of Woodville, are moving on to the next round of competition.
Harrison, who was one of the top three vote-getters, got a special surprise when the mayor of the East Texas town appeared onstage to present her with a key to the city.
