A Texas couple won’t be charged in the death of a 3-year-old adopted boy from Russia.
Ector County District Attorney Bobby Bland says a grand jury determined there was insufficient evidence against Alan and Laura Shatto in the January death of Max Shatto. Authorities in Russia blamed the boy’s death on “inhuman treatment” by his parents.
