Wet road conditions lead to a horrible wreck in Montgomery County.  News 92 FM’s Matt Greenwood has details.

Police say 27-year-old Jennifer Clouse was with her husband and two children traveling westbound on SH 105 from Cleveland to Conroe around 5:30 Saturday morning. Heavy rain pounded the pavement as 40-year-old Kevin Golden was driving eastbound in his dodge pickup. Investigators say Golden veered into the oncoming lane, and Clouse ran into him.

“The driver of the pickup truck was transported to Memorial Herman in Houston by ground with serious injuries,” said Montgomery County trooper Erik Burse. “The passenger car with the family of four did not survive.”

DPS continues to investigate the crash and no charges have been filed. It is not believed that alcohol was involved. Montgomery County Precinct 4 justice of the peace James Metts says in his ten years of service this is by far the worst he has ever seen in a single event.
