There’s more trouble for two DPS troopers who stopped and searched a woman and her niece on a Dallas-area highway last summer. They’ve been indicted.
When David Farrell thought he smelled marijuana in the car he had pulled over last July 31st, he called in fellow State Trooper Kelley Helleson to do a body cavity search of the two women inside. Dashcam video shows Helleson feeling the women’s breasts and reaching down their pants. One of the women complained on the tape. Both troopers were suspended. Now trooper Helleson has been indicted on official oppression and sexual assault. Both are facing lawsuits filed by the two women.
