The Houston Chronicle reports Paul Alan White, also known as Jonathan Alan Davenport, entered the plea Wednesday. Sentencing is set for June 28. He faces up to three years in prison for each violation:
According to an indictment, White pretended to be a CIA agent to get personal information from a friend of a female coworker at a Houston civil engineering firm. Also, the co-worker told authorities that White tried to recruit her to what she thought was the FBI, having her fill out a security form.
The 57-year-old from The Woodlands has a history of impersonating officials and wrote a book about it in the mid-1990s titled “Guilty As Charged.”
