It was a busy day in Kaufman County with an arrest and charges today in the shooting deaths of the district attorney, his wife, and an assistant district attorney.
Kim Williams is charged with three counts of capital murder in the deaths of mike McLelland, his wife, Cynthia, and Mark Hasse. But Emily Trube with KRLD in Dallas tells us this investigation may not be over.
An affidavit filed today reveals Kim Williams told investigators a day earlier that her husband Eric Williams was the triggerman in the murders of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife Cynthia, as well as assistant prosecutor Mark Hasse.
The McLellands were shot to death in their north Texas home late last month. Hasse was killed near the Kaufman County courthouse in January.
