President Barack Obama to Attend Memorial Service in West

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are expected to attend a memorial service on Thursday for victims of a fertilizer plant explosion in West, Texas, the White House said.

The service will be in Waco at Baylor University. The president will also attend the dedication in Dallas of the George W. Bush presidential library the same day. He has a Democratic fundraiser planned in Dallas on Wednesday night.

Hundreds were injured and 14 people were killed in the explosion.
