Almost two weeks ago heavy rain flooded areas of Houston, leaving drivers stranded and causing massive delays. Now more bad weather is on the way tonight and this weekend. Francisco Sanchez with Harris County Emergency Management says they are keeping a close eye on things but it’s hard to tell if we’ll see a repeat of last time.
While the area could receive damage from wind and hail, the possibility of flash flooding is the biggest concern. Sanchez says the best thing the public can do is stay informed.
Sanchez says the biggest chance for severe weather will be Friday afternoon.
