A shooting inside an Alief townhome leaves two people dead, one of them a 10-year-old boy.
The family had just moved in a month ago.
Henry Nguyen couldn’t sleep. Word that three of his neighbors had been shot late Monday – afternoon and that two of them were dead – left him stunned.
“I feel bad about this, the young boy, 10 year old,” Nguyen said.
More than 12 hours after the shooting, Nguyen stood outside the crime scene tape still surrounding the townhome three doors down.
“I was remodeling inside my house,” he added. “I didn’t hear nothing.”
Nguyen just moved in two weeks ago. He says the father who is now in critical condition helped him with cars. The victims’s 10-year-old son and the victims girlfriend both died at the scene. Police have indicated they believe the triple shooting may have been drug related.
