Several construction workers are injured Saturday at Texas A&M.
Construction workers were continuing work on Texas A&M’s new equine center on the west side of campus.
They were elevated and tying steel together on the barn 35-foot tall and 300 foot long barn when the metal frame collapsed just before 11 a-m. Four people were taken to the hospital with one listed in critical condition. None of their names or details of their conditions have been released.
Workers broke ground on the 80 million dollar building in October with the first phase set for completion next year.
