Mona Nelson Trial: Blowtorch, Burnt Carpet Become Focus for Prosecutors

Prosecutors are focusing on physical evidence in the trial of a Houston woman accused of killing a 12-year-old boy.

One detective testified they found burned carpet and twine in Mona Nelson‘s home, which was the same type found on Jonathan Foster‘s body.  Another officer testified they discovered a torch and accelerant near where the child’s body was found.
