(Houston)—There’s a lot of howling going on in one Fort Bend neighborhood.
Residence near Westpark and Mason road told Channel 2 that it not uncommon to see coyotes in the evenings on the banks of Barker Dam.
Some people in the neighborhood reportedly are placing food behind fences to keep the coyotes away from their houses.
One area pest control company is receiving a lot of calls about the animals in the neighborhood.
The business is in the process of attempting to trap the coyotes to see how many are in the area.
Homeowner’s are encouraged to lock those doors at night to prevent entry.
